About us

GENA AGROPECUARIA is a 100% Mexican family company with more than 40 years of experience in producing live hogs, eggs and cattle. Located in the west central part of Mexico in the state of Jalisco, close to Guadalajara and the port of Manzanillo, with its excellent climate conditions it gives GENA a privileged location for the production of hogs. This gives them the opportunity to work with the biggest pork processing plants in Mexico, making GENA one of the main live hog suppliers in Mexico.

GENA works with the best genetics companies in the world with the objective to offer the best quality meat to their customers. They also produce all the feed for their hogs in their own feed mills, and only process their own hogs in their slaughter house, which allows them a strict control of traceability in all the process. GENA is a company with the commitment to satisfy the needs of their customers with his high quality products.

GENA is also a company that worries about the environment, so they have built many Biodigester pools in their farms for the capture of methane gas to produce electricity and heat for their hog farms and steam for their feed mills. They also implement renewable energy by having one the biggest solar parks in the state of Jalisco.
